Is there any way to lock my keyboard?

Hello, to whomever may read this. I hope you are well.

I'm wonder if there has been a way (yet), where I can lock my keyboard, so that I do not accidentally type on keys and mess up any documents I have already been working on (on my laptop), while I also work on top of it/writing in a notebook/notepad. I know right? HUMANS!!!, never satisfied ... always need/want more. No, I cannot put my notebook/notepad to the side and right on it while i look back and forth (left and right) to my screen. I want everything in front of me... for better productivity. LOL... incase anyone is wonder. 😊 ... I hope apple sees this and implements an upgrade with this feature 😍
